In our latest Oil Rig HVAC controls project, the components being sensed and controlled were spread out over a large area on four levels of the Rig. We recommended a distributed I/O system using Ethernet communications.The HVAC Controls package we supplied controlled 105 digital inputs, 83 digital outputs, 40 analog inputs, and 2 analog outputs.
